They can't process the idea of having Christmas in Summer. They are amazed that we go swimming on Christmas day and that we eat lots of ice cream. Also that it can get up to around 38 degrees.
They think its weird that I have only seen snow twice, and can't ski very well.
They feel sorry for us in Australia that we don't have Christmas Markets.
I have a friend who ate a bit of Vegemite and then said very loudly "My dog eats that". But she's from Georgia (the country) so it might be a little different.
I find it weird how accents change here. If the Germans spoke English in the same voice/accent as they speak German they would sound fine. When they speak English it sounds very funny, and all the 'th' sounds turn into a t or a weird sound that I can't replicate written down.
They have some food that is different here. The bread is much yummier, its called brochen and its like a big roll. They have curry ketchup, which I haven't decided if I like or not.
they don't have to wear helmets when riding a bike, which I find exhilarating when riding without a helmet going fast with my hair out behind me, I feel like i'm nearly flying.
I can't think of much more, but when I do I will write more. i should get to bed, and stop editing playlists and writing this.
