The term is nearly over and I'm glad.. We're going to Melbourne next week with a few of my friends to a youth camp. It should be heaps of fun!!
I just read a book for English called Cinnamon Rain, by Emma Cameron. I really liked it. I nearly didn't read it because of the way it was written. But I ended up reading because I had no books left.
An excerpt from my assignment is

Cinnamon Rain is written in a different style of writing. The lines are set up in a nearly random order., it seems that the lines are broken up where the reader would naturally pause. But whatever it is, it is refreshing to read something that is different. Cinnamon Rain stands on a line between poetry and prose, it’s really neither.
Sometimes I have thought that poetry or prose novels can be rather restricting, but certainly not with Cinnamon Rain.
It's only for year 10 english, so it doesn't have to be too amazingly written.

But if you see it in a library or bookstore, give it a go.  I think it is nothing like the blurb.

It must be something about me and posting on the first day of the month. I am going to try better this month! Well here's to hoping..
I know I haven't been on here for ages. i'm thinking of deleting all my posts and turning it into a craft blog, but lets see what happens. I'm back to school and it's boring as.. but next week is work experience and I get to go with the handwork teacher at my school, and we're doing yarn bombing with the year 8s, so life is looking up next week. I'll post a picture or two..
